Destinations

At the time of writing this, am still in England and am at that stage where work has ended but I have not yet started travelling. There is still so much to plan and organise.

I know for sure that I will be visiting Morocco, Egypt, China, India & Nepal and South East Asia (Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam). But where I go after, I do not know yet. There are so many options available but ultimately money will dictate. I need to ensure I leave enough for when I get back home as I don’t know how long it will take for me to find work again.

Initially after South East Asia, around February / March 2019, I wanted to head over to Central America, then head up to a few places in USA and cross over into Canada but I think that will be quite expensive to do.

The other, perhaps more appealing, option would be head to New Zealand for a few weeks. I will be ‘in the area’ anyway, I don’t need a visa, and it’s somewhere I cannot really do on a 2 week holiday from UK due to the distance involved plus the times coincide with summer and autumn there. To me, being on the opposite side of the world, makes no difference whether the return flight to UK heads east or west. However, as I would have mostly been travelling eastwards, if I continue in this direction perhaps I’ll squeeze in a whistle stop tour of Canada on the way back.

Who knows, not me, not yet… 🙂
