Only a few days left in England now before I start on the Wyles Walkabout Tour 2018/19. Eek!

I genuinely cannot believe how quick it has come round, it only seems the other week we were gripped with about a month of snow but now there is a heatwave going on and England seem to be doing ok (so far, with a few ‘clenching moments’) in the World Cup. Strange times.

I have been doing a fair bit of shopping over the last few months and now looking at it all, am hoping that I can actually fit it all into my 60ltr backpack and daypack. I’ll try and make use of some vacuum storage bags by sitting on them to squeeze all the stuff in, but anyone who has travelled before knows less is more, so I will likely end up leaving a few (hopefully non-essential) items behind.

The last few weeks, I have been spending time with a few friends and family catching up, getting some support with this website and to say goodbye. It’s always nice to receive support, but it felt weird to say either I’ll see you next year or will meet up in Bangkok or somewhere in Thailand…
